Welcome to Orbit-O-R!
I'm Emma, the CEO and Architectural Designer. With over seven years of experience in the design and construction industry, I've had the privilege of witnessing the immense potential that innovative thinking and technological advancements hold for shaping the built environment.
At Orbit-O-R, I am dedicated to redefining the way we experience space, committed to pushing the boundaries and embracing the limitless possibilities that modern observation and record bring to architectural design.
What sets Orbit-O-R apart is the unwavering belief in creating spaces that engage all the senses and evoke emotions. As a designer, I know the power of going beyond visual aesthetics. I strive to design spaces that not only please the eye but also stimulate the imagination and leave a lasting impact on those who experience them. By integrating sound, light, and technology, I orchestrate design stimuli that blur the lines between physical and virtual realities, crafting captivating and immersive environments.
I am truly excited to lead Orbit-O-R on this transformative journey, constantly pushing the boundaries of architectural design. With our focus on sensory experiences, data-infused architecture, and tech-responsive structures, we are shaping the future of the industry. Together, let's create architectural marvels that redefine the way we interact with our surroundings.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Sustainability is a core value that resonates deeply with me and guides the approach to design. I understand the importance of responsible architecture that considers the environmental impact of projects. At Orbit-O-R, I integrate sustainable practices into designs, seeking energy-efficient solutions, utilizing recycled materials, and incorporating nature-inspired elements. I am
committed to fostering a harmonious coexistence between the built and natural environments.
Orbit-O-R utilises a design methodology that explores the interdisciplinary space between art and design. Connecting material palettes that consist of smart materials, holding all key properties required for application, such as sustainable credentials, form representation, constructional and infrastructure innovation.
PROJECT SCALE
As an architectural designer, I find immense joy in working on projects of all sizes. Whether it's a bespoke home design or a commercial complex, each project presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities to explore the vast world of architectural design. The intricacies of small-scale projects often require meticulous attention to detail and intricate problem-solving, whereas large-scale projects allow me to delve into broader strokes of urban design, landscape, and the impact of architecture on communities. This diverse range is not a hurdle but a source of creative stimulation and satisfaction for me. The diversity in scale, context, and requirements breathes life into my work, and I am always eager to see the next design challenge that awaits me.
PROCESS
Our primary goal is to create exceptional architecture that captures the essence of our client's desires and aspirations. By listening attentively to their needs and aspirations, we ensure that our designs resonate deeply with their individual experiences. Through our design process, we aim to strike a harmonious balance between aesthetic and functional beauty, resulting in buildings that not only enhance the surrounding environment but also provide meaningful spaces for occupants.
While I do not have all the answers, I am motivated to learn, adapt, and continuously improve the approach to fostering a harmonious relationship with our planet. I am committed to seeking innovative solutions, adjusting the practice, and never compromising on the commitment to sustainability.
THE STORY BEHIND ORBIT-O-R
The final project in my BA (Hons) Architecture degree had a significant impact on the conceptualization of Orbit-O-R, a business dedicated to revolutionizing modern observation and record in the design realm. The project, which focused on integrating technology and sustainability in architecture, sparked the idea of Orbit-O-R.
I had titled my final project Orbit-O-R, the focus was on modern observation and record as a subfield to cinematography and image and data capture, following the exploration of the importance of human history and how it continues to hold a critical role in expanding the understanding of past eras, influencing public opinion and bringing forward societal change, providing the opportunity for universal discovery.
Technological advancement redefines boundaries, the sense of space becomes ambiguous, and the user simultaneously becomes part of the scenery through perception and interpretation. Our surroundings become an extension of our imagination. Orbit-O-R had explored the past, and present and evolved to explore the future of architecture orientated around the technological advancement of Photographic and Cinematic processes.
Utilising sound, light and technology to simulate the internal programmatic skin, by communicating an appropriate response through the internal envelope morphing both physical and virtual realities to orchestrate design stimuli. The proposal for Orbit-O-R had been driven by the aim to design beyond our sense of sight, with a central focus on sensory design, exploring how space is experienced and manipulated by movement.
As a natural extension, Orbit-O-R as a business was born, with Orbit-O-R, I am bringing an architectural vision to life by merging cutting-edge technology with practical design applications, ultimately creating a seamless synergy between theory and practice to redefine the boundaries of architectural design.
